"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;Ā His mercies never end;Ā they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23
The Word tells us that God is a God of new beginnings. Every day is a new beginning for us. His mercies are new every morning. Not only His new mercy, but His grace, His love, His peace, His kindness, His power, and all of His attributes are new every morning. That is why we should be thankful every day that He gives us another day. As His Word says, "This is the day that the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24) We must rejoice in the Lord every day, no matter what happened the day before.
It does not matter what challenges we had in previous years. You and I have faced many struggles, needs, and challenges, but today is a new day, a new opportunity, a new year, and a new season, but also new mercies, new grace, a new beginning, new is His love new is His strength now IS the opportunity to start all over again with Him and through Him. It is a new opportunity to do better, to learn from the past, but look to the future with hope and faith, knowing that we are not alone, He is not blaming us for the mistakes of yesterday, we are the ones who have to learn from our mistakes, and collaborate with the Holy Spirit. We need to shake our dust, and our heaviness, and encourage ourselves to get back up again; because it is a new day. He has given us a new day, because He is faithful, and He is good.
Starting this year 2025 is a good time to remind ourselves that the love of God and His mercy is new every day that everything we have gone through is working for our good and that The Lord is in our mist as a powerful, mighty, and faithful Father that never leaves us nor forsakes us. We just need to make sure to depend on Him and trust Him as our Daddy, and our Lord.
In my book: Redeemed, More than a Conqueror, No longer a Victim, I have been very vulnerable in telling my story of how the Lord has been so graceful and merciful with me despite my imperfections and sins. He has given me many opportunities to start all over again, until His character and firm identity developed within me. Many tears were shed while I was writing that book, I also laughed and rejoiced for the faithfulness of my Father.
I pray that someone who is going through or dealing with what I dealt with receives hope and encouragement and knows there is a better future with God for each of us, no matter where we have been, what we have done, or what stage we are still in.
He who began the good work in you and me will perfect it until the day of Christ. (Philippians 1:6) Believe, dry your tears off, take courage, run to Him instead of from Him and seek Him first. He has much more in store for you and me. He loves you and cares for you. If we trust Him, He will change every situation for our good and His glory.
Please leave your prayer request, dear reader. I promise to pray for you. We need each other. I bless you.

NUEVO COMIENZO
